The Rijksmuseum collection is a journey through Dutch art and history from the Middle Ages up to the 20th century. The story of the Netherlands is placed in an international context and, spread over four floors, is told in chronological order. The collection includes paintings, prints, drawings, photographs, silver, porcelain, delftware, furniture, jewelry, costumes and objects from Dutch history. Included are works by Vermeer, Rembrandt, Frans Hals, Jan Steen, and Vincent van Gogh. An all day outing.
