The first of three shop windows photos with models from comix. There are a couple of blocks of stores devoted to French comix around Rue Saint-Jacques and Rue Dante near Boulevard Saint-Germain (this image is from a store on Rue Dante). The Tintin series of models are fantastic in the way they capture motion. The really appear to be floating in, even moving through, space. Here Tintin holds a chair for a falling Professor Calculus. On the right is the lovely Castafiore, also from the Tintin series.
